I have another thought on this topic. Would it make sense to have a ofParameter class? It would create a button if added to the gui and if you click on the button, the event gets triggered. You can then use this event to call any function you want. You wouldn't be able to use event parameters though. I might look into implementing this, just asking what you think about the idea.
